Training ship "Toba Maru" first arrives at Hidaka Port, Wakayama Prefecture

 Between Toba National College of Maritime Technology (Principal: Yuji Hayashi) and Wakayama National College of Technology (Principal: Noriyoshi Tsunoda)2018Years3As a project of the comprehensive cooperation agreement concluded in March, the training ship "Toba Maru" is a voyage course of the Department of Commercial Ships.5In the voyage training of the grader5Month8I arrived at Hidaka Port in Gobo City, Wakayama Prefecture for the first time on Tuesday.
At the ceremony after entering the port, guests such as Mayor Masao Kashiwagi of Gobo City and Chairman Kokubo of the City Tourism Association gave welcome words.

 Principal Tsunoda of Wakayama National College of Technology said, "Gobo and Toba are connected by the sea. From now on, I would like to actively cooperate with the sea and proceed with my research."

 After the event, we invited local kindergarten children, elementary school students and guests to Toba Maru for explanations on board and hands-on voyages by students (5Month8Day and9Sun) was done.

 Toba Maru conducted a landing test of relief supplies assuming disaster relief, and exchanged opinions with the people of the Disaster Prevention Countermeasures Division of Gobo City Hall.
