Purpose of General Education

Education at a college of technology aims to train engineers with advanced specialized knowledge and skills.What is desired of modern engineers is a skill in a specialized field, as well as a rich creativity, a highly educated, independent and collaborative humanity.
The curriculum of the General Education Department aims to acquire such basic qualities as an engineer and to cultivate the basic academic ability to study specialized subjects.
To this end, students will study a wide range of subjects, including humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, health and physical education, arts, and foreign languages, over a five-year integrated education program, from high school level to university liberal arts level.
