Department of Merchant Shipping
The Department of Commercial Ships is a department that aims to develop Japanese modernized and automated ship operation engineers and human resources who can respond to various maritime-related land industries. After two years of basic study, the third year will be divided into a voyage course and an institutional course.
Upon graduation, you will be exempted from the written examination of a third-class mariner required for ocean-going vessels, and if you pass the oral examination, you will be able to obtain a national qualification.
