　The National Institute of Technology Staff Award is given to staff who have achieved particularly high praise in their efforts to improve operational efficiency and support education.This time, technical staff Hamaguchi was awarded the Young Encouragement Award in recognition of his efforts to "implement student PBL in the field of Ise-Shima and promote regional cooperation through corporate support."
　At our school, the Department of Information Mechanical Systems Engineering started in 31, aiming to develop engineers by solving problems in collaboration with the community.As part of the curriculum, students work on engineering problem-solving in the Ise-Shima region where our school is located in the fishery, agriculture, and tourism industries.These efforts have been highly evaluated in external contests such as technical college process contests, and some of them are actually being used by local companies.
　Many of the systems developed in this PBL include not only software but also hardware elements such as IoT, and Hamaguchi technical staff provides technical support for both software and hardware. We provide development advice while grasping the overall picture of the system.As a result, students repeat system design, implementation, and demonstration experiments, and ultimately produce products with a high degree of perfection.
