The "Technical College Wireless IoT Contest" sponsored by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications is a wireless IoT and original ideas of students who are nurtured at a college of technology that trains advanced engineers while being close to the region. It is held for the purpose of connecting to new services of the radio wave business including 5G. In the contest in 2020, a team of students from our school won the Smart Fisheries Award under the theme of "Visualization and conservation of seaweed beds in Ise Bay using AI in collaboration with fishermen."
