About future lessons due to worsening virus infection situation

In November, the number of new coronavirus infections has increased nationwide, and the situation is unpredictable.The class format of our school from the second semester is "to conduct face-to-face lessons in a normal classroom and distribute and record them online".Therefore, even if you cannot go to school for some reason, you can still study at home.If the virus infection spreads and it becomes impossible to go to school in the future, it is expected that the class will shift to the "distance class" as in the previous term.

If you move to distance learning, we will list the things you should be aware of below, so students should be prepared for that time.

• Please reconfirm the environment where you can take distance lessons at home. (Improvement of reception environment for personal computers, Wi-Fi, etc.)
• Always pay attention to the infection situation in Japan and Mie prefecture, and do not miss any change notifications such as classes.
  * Please make sure that you can receive school emails and check your emails at least once a day.
• It may not be possible to carry out final exams, re-examinations, credit examinations, etc.In such cases, for example, student grades may be ranked according to the scores of the exams that can be conducted, such as mid-term exams and quizzes.Please understand that there may be changes in the method of grade evaluation and attendance confirmation.
• The implementation method and schedule of experiments and practical training will change depending on the content.

If distance learning resumes, it is expected that the burden on students will increase.However, be aware that you can avoid the risk of infection as much as possible, and spend your days not losing sight of your purpose of studying.In order to prevent infection at school, daily disinfection in the classroom, personal infection prevention measures (mask, hand washing, ventilation, avoiding 3 crowds, not making a loud voice, health management (app), etc.) are really implemented Please double check if it is done.
