Also, after this year's competition, the leader of Team A (which received the Special Award from Tokyo Electron Limited) said the following:
"This year, I was the team leader for the A team. As the oldest member of the team, this was my fourth Robocon and I gave it my all. This year's theme was "The Return of the Robots." The rules were very difficult, with robots throwing robots and the robots that landed had to bring back balls and boxes. Our A team participated in the competition with robots that could land stably by gliding and robots that could dynamically bring back boxes by jumping using springs. We also put a lot of effort into the decoration of the robots this time, unifying the exterior with a Japanese taste. This stable gliding and decoration were highly evaluated, and we were able to receive a special award. However, we were disappointed that we were not able to show all the mechanisms of the robot and that we missed our goal of competing in the national competition. I think this will be my last year as a main participant in Robocon, but next year, the whole team will work together and aim to compete in the national competition. Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has cooperated and supported our Robocon activities."
The program will show how the team packed the robot with their passionate ideas and worked hard without compromising until the very end.
