Open Campus 2024 (held in August) was held

On Saturday, October 12th, our school held an open campus. A total of 211 people participated, and including the participants in the August event, the total number of participants this year was 739. First, an introduction to the school and an overall explanation were given in the media hall, and after that, participants were divided into those interested in the Department of Marine Science and Technology and those interested in the Department of Information and Machine Systems Engineering, and attended information sessions, hands-on courses, and facility tours for each department. The Department of Marine Science and Technology held hands-on courses on ropework, steering, and ROV operation, while the Department of Information and Machine Systems Engineering held hands-on courses on programming and machine learning. After the department-specific information sessions, a dormitory information session was held for those interested, and a school dining experience was held at the Shiosai Kaikan cafeteria.

Participants gave positive feedback from both departments, such as "The ship-handling simulator was professional and new, and the specialized content was very interesting," and "I didn't understand a lot about programming, but when I actually tried it, it was interesting and made me want to learn more." It was a great opportunity for people to get to know Toba National College of Maritime Technology. Thank you to everyone who applied and participated.

Toba National College of Maritime Technology will be holding further entrance exam events in the future, so please apply via the URL below.
