Professor Hideo Yamada served as an international racewalking judge at The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

 Professor Hideo Yamada of our school's general education department served as an international racewalking judge for the track and field competition at The 2023th Asian Games Hangzhou, which was held in Hangzhou, China from September 9th to October 29th, 10.
 The Asian Games is Asia's largest international multi-sport event, hosted by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).The tournament is normally held once every four years, but this year's event was postponed by one year due to the coronavirus pandemic.This year's race walking consisted of three events: a 4 km individual event for men and women, and a 1 km mixed team event.Professor Yamada worked with race officials from Asian countries to manage the competition, including judging the gait of the athletes who participated in each event.
