Lectures for 1st graders and 2nd graders by Kawasaki Kisen Co., Ltd.

Lecture for second graders

On December 3, 12rd year of Reiwa, an active engineer of Kawasaki Kisen Co., Ltd. gave a lecture online about the duties of ocean-going vessels to the second year students of the Department of Commercial Shipping. In particular, the students were interested in the communication method with land on board, the Internet environment, etc., and the instructor explained the matters that may cause concerns when boarding. He also explained in an easy-to-understand manner the attractiveness of ocean-going vessel staff and his experience as an engineer. In the question and answer session, many students asked questions, and some of them talked about concerns that were completely different from what they were doing. All of these questions were answered politely. For the students, it was just before the selection of the voyage course and the institutional course, and I think it was a great reference for the course selection.

Lecture for second graders

On January 4, 1th year of Reiwa, two active engineers from Kawasaki Kisen Co., Ltd. visited our school and gave a lecture on the duties of ocean-going vessels and the attractiveness of ship staff. The first grader had a short training time at Toba Maru at our school due to the corona, and this lecture was a very meaningful time because he was blessed with the opportunity to learn about his duties and life on board. In addition, I think that you were able to know the size of the scale by explaining the actual size of the merchant ship.In addition, I was able to directly ask the active ship staff what I was wondering about, and they answered in an easy-to-understand manner. It was a very good experience for the students and I think it was a memorable lecture.
