Tatsuya Ueki, a third-year student in the Department of Commercial Ships, is the runner-up of the highest award at the "3th Isewan Ferry Photo Contest" sponsored by the Chunichi Shimbun, co-sponsored by the Toba Irako Route Activation Council, and the China-Japan Photographic Association. The Chunichi Shimbun reported that it had received the Route Activation Council Chairman's Award.
