The National College of Technology Wireless Tech Contest (WiCON) is a contest for students of National College of Technology nationwide, sponsored by the Communications and Information Network Association of Japan (CIAJ). The purpose of the contest is to utilize the technical skills and creative ideas of students of National College of Technology to develop human resources, solve local issues, and create new businesses and services through technical demonstrations of "new ideas" for wireless technologies and systems, and "things," "apps," and "services" that use wireless devices and systems. The theme of this contest is technical demonstration proposals for ideas that utilize the characteristics of wireless to solve local issues.
